Emo Landfill Site is located at the end of Howse Road south of the Village of Emo off of Highway 602. Red Resident Card (free) must be shown, available at the Emo Municipal Office. There is a charge for non-residents – please contact Emo Municipal office for more information. (807) 482-2378
Winter Hours of Operation:
Effective September 1 to May 31
Tuesdays 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Thursdays 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Saturdays 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Summer Hours of Operation:
Effective June 1 to August 31
Tuesdays 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Thursdays 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Saturdays 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Garbage Pick-up within the Village of Emo (2 bag maximum) – Friday mornings 8:00am – 9:00am
Tire drop off available at the Emo Landfill Site free of charge to residents or non-residents.
Battery drop off available. Vehicle batteries not accepted.
Recycling Bins are located 24 hours per day on Canning Lane for your convenience.
You may recycle the following items:
Tin/Aluminum – food or beverage cans
Plastics (#1-7)
(glass, paper and cardboard are not accepted at this time)
